Hey thanks so much. It's humbling you help us, I know one day and one day soon we'll get a chance to return that favor :)
So basically for this album, we wanted it to be something that the listener could take in a multi-fashion way, a sort of different interpretive experience based on track order. Meaning if you listen to certain tracks, read the lyrics, then they would have lead you to certain ideas about the album. Where as if you did the same for other tracks then they'd give another angle to the story..
And THIS story is based around the title of the album called "PHASING OUT THE JUGGERNAUT" Say that over and over in your head and then, go look at GREEN CITY... Maybe you'll see what we saw when we looked at it.
It's interesting because the reach character seems like he's taken on a new size and darker character too! There is a character in our theme called "The Resistor" and he's the one who sets the world free through self sacrifice. He's a martre and knows the truth but because it terrifies people they imprison him... But when his truth starts to actually unfold and in the face of devastation and they run to him for answers... but it seems it might be too late for him. And the concept rests with that in mind. And why he must Phase out the unstoppable force, phase out the juggernaut.
